ANDE Helps RENEW-Backed Company Become Gender-Smart

On December 15, 2021, ANDE announced the winners of the Gender-Smart Investing Capacity Building Facility funds, an activity under the ANDE Gender Equality Initiative (AGEI). RENEW, along with four other organizations, were picked to advance their gender lens investing strategies. The funds, provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), targets investors who are committed to advancing gender equality through investments into SGBs. Each of the five organizations are slated to receive up to $30,000 and support SGBs operating in India, Brazil or the East and Southeast Asia, Andean or Eastern African regions.
