The Angel Investment Exchange

By Laura Davis | Sun Dec 04 2016
Thursday evening brought a stellar crowd to RENEW's new office on the second floor of Galani Cafe in Jacros, where we officially launched RENEW's Angel Investment Exchange (also referred to as “The Exchange”), and kicked off the Accelerating Business Growth project that is undertaken with financial support of the Government of Canada, provided through Global Affairs Canada. Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate the launch, and to the Embassy of Canada in Ethiopia for co-sponsoring the event.
The Exchange, the focal point of the five-year ABG project, will bring local SMEs through an intensive executive management-training program and help them connect with international investors and markets. The goal is for businesses to scale into market leaders, enabling them to play a stronger role in the Ethiopian economy and create sustainable job growth.
Whether you were able to attend the event to learn more about the project or not, we wanted to follow up with information about what's next...
